The Biology Student Association (HIMABIO) of Nelumbo, Muhammadiyah University of Lamongan, officially appointed David Alvin Arizal as its elected Chairperson for the 2025–2026 term. David succeeds Tri Sumaryono, the previous Chairperson, who completed his term with great dedication.

The handover ceremony was filled with enthusiastic cheers and cheers. In an interview, David shared his first impressions after being elected to lead HIMABIO. "Honestly, I'm very happy, but also a bit nervous. The happiness is, of course, being entrusted with leadership, but on the other hand, I also feel challenged because this is my first time as Chairperson of HIMABIO," David said enthusiastically.

He also expressed high hopes for the direction of HIMABIO under his leadership. "Hopefully, with this mandate, HIMABIO can continue to grow and become an increasingly solid, active, and beneficial organization, not only for biology students but also for the surrounding community," he continued.

Not only from the elected chairman, but also from Tri Sumaryono, the outgoing chairman. In his remarks, Tri expressed his prayers and hopes for the continued success of HIMABIO. "I hope David can carry out this mandate well, be given smooth work programs, and maintain a sense of responsibility as a leader," he said.

With the election of David Alvin Arizal, it is hoped that HIMABIO Nelumbo can continue its excellent programs and become a platform for personal, intellectual, and character development for all its members. This leadership relay marks a new chapter in the journey of this biology student organization, which remains committed to contributing academically and socially.
