The UMLA Biology Team Successfully Secures the Muhammadiyah Research Grant Batch IX

Lamongan, November 16, 2025, Muhammadiyah University of Lamongan has again achieved success in research after one of its Biology research projects was successfully awarded funding under the 2025 Batch IX Muhammadiyah Research Grant. Under the Regular Fundamental Research II scheme, the team, led by M. Ainul Mahbubillah (NIDN 0727049103), along with Aisyah Hadi Ramadani (NIDN 0707048903), Fatan Mujahid (2203020037), and Atthaitan Indi Pratama (2203020055), proposed a study entitled "Encapsulation of Rhizobacteria Consortium from Bambusa spinosa Roxb. as a Candidate for Organic Fertilizer Products (PGPR) to Increase Cucumis melo L. Yields." This research stands out because it focuses on the development of rhizobacteria-based biological agents to increase horticultural crop productivity in a safer and more environmentally friendly manner.

In addition to the research, UMLA also successfully passed a number of other titles in Batch IX, including: "Application of Health Belief Model to Identify Knowledge and Health Behavior of Muhammadiyah Members in Preventing Diabetes Mellitus", "Impact of Training and Competence on Service Performance in the Disability Inclusive Development (DID) Program", "Analysis of Species Composition and Structure of Mangrove Vegetation in Toima Village, Banggai Regency", "Exploration of Algospeak as a Socio-Digital Linguistic Phenomenon", "Predictors of Medication Compliance Barriers in Hypertension Clients in Kudus Regency", "Healthy Bread: Modification of Natural Yeast from Parijoto Fruit as an Alternative Food for Diabetes Patients", "Parijoto Extract as an Alternative to Chemical Anticoagulants In-Vitro Test", "Increasing Competitiveness of MSMEs through Service Optimization and Operational Efficiency", "Exploration of Service Quality and Relationship Marketing in Micro Retail", and "Gender Education Model to Build Awareness of Fisherwomen's Rights in South Konawe." This list of titles demonstrates UMLA's research contributions span a wide range of strategic areas that benefit society.
