Pasuruan, December 22, 2024 – Two undergraduate students from the University of Muhammadiyah Lamongan (UMLA) in the BIOLOGY program once again brought honor to the institution at the 3rd National Pasuruan Martial Arts Championship, held from December 20-22, 2024, at the Sasana Krida Sports Hall in Pasuruan Regency.

David Alfin Arizal, an undergraduate Biology student, won first place in the Adult Men's Doubles category, while his partner, Ghulam Mulham Musyadad, also from the same program, won third place in the Adult Men's Fighter category. This achievement is a source of pride for Muhammadiyah Lamongan University, which continues to support the development of student potential in various fields.

The championship attracted participants from across Indonesia, making it one of the most competitive and prestigious martial arts competitions at the national level. The two UMLA students demonstrated extraordinary skills and a strong fighting spirit throughout the competition.

David Alfin Arizal, who won the gold medal, impressed the judges with his flawless technique and solid teamwork in the Men's Adult Doubles category. "I am very grateful for this achievement. This is the result of hard work, consistent training, and support from many parties, especially my coaches and family," said David.

Meanwhile, Ghulam Mulham Musyadad, who secured third place in the Men's Adult Fighter category, also expressed his gratitude and hope for continued development. "I thank everyone who has supported me. This victory is the beginning of bigger steps forward," he said.

This event also provided a platform for martial arts athletes to share experiences, expand their networks, and strengthen relationships among participants from various regions. This success is expected to motivate other UMLA students to continue achieving, both academically and in sports.
